During his comments at the dinner of the National Committee of the Republican Congress in Washington, DC, on Tuesday, President Donald Trump promoted his tariff plan, doubling and telling the members of the Congress of the Republican Party: “I know what demon I am doing.”
Trump’s comments occur as concerns about the impact that tariffs will have on the economy and the stock market grow.

With its reciprocal tariffs in force at 12:01 am et on Wednesday, the president said again that the United States has been scammed and is ending.
“Many countries have done it, they have torn us to the left and the right. But now it is our turn to do the tear,” he said.
Trump said countries have been calling him to want to reach an agreement before radical tariffs.
“I tell you that these countries call us, kissing my A **. They are dying to make a deal,” he said.
