A sixth man who escaped from a New Orleans prison was arrested after more than a week in the race, authorities announced.
The attorney general of Louisiana, Liz Murrill, announced Monday night that inmate Lenton Vanburen was captured in Baton Rouge and is again in custody.
Vanburen was originally imprisoned for charges of probation rape, possession of a firearm by a criminal and illegal transport of a weapon, according to Murrill.

The inmate will now face additional positions related to the escape, Murrill added.
A total of 10 inmates escaped from the Orleans Justice Center after climbing through a hole behind a bathroom in the early hours of May 16. His disappearance was not noticed for several hours and seized a mass hunt for more than a week.

Seven people have been arrested under suspicion of helping the escapes, including a prison maintenance worker accused of closing the water to the bathroom, another inmate in jail and five other people.
Three of the 10 inmates who escaped were arrested within the first 24 hours of Jailbreak. The other two were captured in the following days.
